Can love be engineered?
Hildy and Paul each have their own reasons for participating in a university psychology study. It seems simple enough – just answer 36 questions with a stranger
- It’s interesting to get to know the characters as you read the story. Hildy and Paul are total strangers to each other at the start of the book so there’s definitely lots of character development throughout this book as they get to know each other a bit more. We get to learn more about their past, their families, their friends, their life experiences, their attitudes to life, their insecurities and their personalities…
- The characters in this book are actually hilarious. Everyone’s very sharp-tongued, though there still obviously remains a balance between humour and more ‘serious’ content in the novel
